Contest Rules and Regulations

  1. To enter, qualify and confirm compliance with contest rules and regulations, the Alberta Advanced Education Graduate Outcomes Survey must be submitted by completing the survey online using the website provided or by telephone. Eligibility for the draw opens on:
    1. January 22, 2024 at 9:00 a.m. M.S.T., and closes on July 29th, 2024 at 12:00p.m. M.S.T. for graduates of Alberta post-secondary education.
  2. There will be forty prizes awarded, for the Graduate Outcomes Survey as follows: One of forty Amazon.ca, Tim Hortons, Starbucks, Indigo, Cineplex, Google Play, or an Ultimate Dining Card gift card valued at $250.00 each; Prizes must be accepted as awarded and are not transferable. The odds of winning will be determined by the number of eligible entries received by the contest closing dates. Additional gift cards are available for graduates who provide employer contact information and whose employer completes the Alberta Advanced Education Employment Success Survey. These prizes will be awarded as follows; respondents whose supervisor completes the survey will be guaranteed their choice of a $30 gift card from Amazon.ca, Tim Hortons, Starbucks, Indigo, Cineplex, Google Play, or an Ultimate Dining Card gift card!
  3. Selection process: All selections will be made at random from among all eligible entries received by the contest closing date. The draw being held at 10:00 am on August 2nd 2024. Selected entrants will be contacted by telephone, email, or mail. To win, selected entrants must complete a written declaration confirming compliance with the contest rules and will be required to answer a time-limited skill-testing mathematical question to be administered by telephone at a pre-arranged time.
  4. No correspondence will be entered into except with potential winners. The sponsors accept no liability for printing errors in material distributed for this contest.
  5. All decisions of the independent judging organization are final. Prizes will be awarded and delivered to the confirmed winner by CCI Research Inc within 30 days of the close of the survey period. All entries become the property of CCI Research Inc. No responsibility will be taken for entries lost, misdirected or delayed. Winners will be required to release CCI Research Inc. and its agencies and representatives from liability with respect to the contest and the prize.
  6. By entering, the winners, if requested, agree to have their names used without compensation for advertising purposes related to this contest.
  7. The contest is open to residents of Canada who are graduates of an Alberta post-secondary institution, except employees of CCI Research Inc., employees of the Alberta Advanced Education, their associated companies and agents and members of their immediate families living in the same household.
  8. An entrant under the age of majority in his/her province of residence must have a parent or legal guardian consent to his/her participation. The sponsors have the right at any time, and in their sole discretion, to request proof of identification and parental consent from any entrant. Proof of identification and parental consent must be provided upon request. If a parent or legal guardian does not provide consent, the entry will be disqualified. The contact information collected by the sponsors with the entry will only be used to award the contest prizes. The sponsors will not use this personal information for any other reason and will not otherwise disclose this personal information to any other party.
  9. The contest is subject to all applicable federal, provincial, municipal, and local laws and regulations.
  10. For Québec residents, any litigation respecting the conduct or organization of a publicity contest may be submitted to the Régie des alcools, des courses et des jeux for a ruling. Any litigation respecting the awarding of a prize may be submitted to the Régie only for the purpose of helping the parties reach a settlement.
  11. The winners’ names can be obtained by sending a written request before October 31st, 2024 to Alberta Graduate Outcomes Survey Winners, CCI Research Inc. 71 Broadway, Orangeville, Ontario, L9W 1K1.
